The purpose of Full Moon Rising Magazine is to provide material that will uplift, enhance or enlighten our readers. Thus, we prefer to receive articles that are informational or inspirational in nature, not promotional or preachy. Likewise, material that is judgemental or negative in any manner will not be considered.
Full Moon Rising Magazine is published in the spirit of positivity; editors and writers are in and of the Light.
Further Information for our Readers
Based on the experience we have had publishing our sister mag, Nature's Wisdom Magazine, we require all writers to include sources for their work and we encourage writers to include sources for additional information, research or study. We anticipate our readers to be thinking individuals; please provide resources for exploration after the closing sentence of your article, in the form of books, web sites, organizations, schools and the like.
Article Contents and Guidelines
Submitted articles should be between 650-1200 words, although we will make exceptions of up to 2000 words for an article we consider ultra-good, completely bewitching or just plain enchanting.
Article content should be well researched and presented professionally with honor and respect given to all material discussed. Remember that not all readers are as experienced as you may be; therefore include definitions of the terms you use and/or references to where further information can be found.
Writers are offered, as compensation, their choice of a complementary advertisement in Full Moon Rising Magazine, or a standard $.01 cent per word.
Essay Contents and Guidelines
Essays submitted detail your personal experiences and reflections, suggestions and recommendations - based on your own practice or observation. Essays are not intended to teach; rather, they are interest pieces which add diversity and a sense of personality to Full Moon Rising Magazine. as personal connections are made. Guest Essayists receive printed name acknowledgement for their submissions. Essays should be between 500-900 words.
Artwork
Artwork is used to beautify Full Moon Rising Magazine. Original art work or photography appears on the cover of each issue. All work must be your own original art, and should pertain to the themes of our magazine. Artists receive credit on the inside cover of the magazine and written acknowledgement from the Publisher, which may be used as a portfolio piece; compensation is offered in the form of an advertisement in our magazine. If submitting your artwork electronically, please send as a high resolution (300 dpi's or better) pdf, jpg or tiff file.
Poetry
Poetry submitted to Full Moon Rising Magazine should be theme-relevant and of a positive nature. All poetry must be your original work. Poets receive printed name credit alongside their work.

You may submit your work electronically via e-mail (preferred) or by conventional postal mail. A submission form should accompany your work if submitting via postal mail. Your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address should be included on each page of your article.
